NOT RECOMMENDED WITHOUT SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN BEFORE: This was a GPS exercise more than a tramp in that a party of 11 attempted to reach the Black Dunny mainly via GPS use and very vague memories of having been there before. The originally plotted GPS waypoints were entered on a GPSMap60 and navigation was from waypoint to waypoint whilst other trampers had copies of the map and the write-up from the previous outing – a real team effort.
