Waikato Pukawa and Sandfly

Two tracks in the Western Bays of Lake Taupo have been combined with a climb up Sandfly Hill (Mt Maunganamu) to make a reasonable days outing for this trip. This is a new listing and does not have PDF and GPX files supplied by Austin Hutcheon. Instead we have included the photos below to provide more information. The Pukawa and Omori walks are about 14kms and Sandfly another 4kms with about 190m of elevation.

Distances. Pukawa Circuit just over an hour. Pukawa to Floating Rock Cafe and return via Kurutau river 3 hours with a stop for lunch. Sandfly 1 hour return.
