Day 1
Leave 8.00
Drive to Matamata
Ride Matamata to Te Aroha (33kms)
Drive to Waihi Beach
Swim and or Walk to Waihi Beach Trig
Day 2
Ride through Golden Valley and up to 268 Ngatitangata
to the start of Homunga Track (17kms)
Walk Homunga Track back to Waihi Beach (12kms)
Day 3
Ride to Dickie’s Flat (20km)
Walk up to the Karangahake Trig
Back through Tunnels track to Dickie’s Flat
Drive back to Waihi Beach
Swim and or Walk Beach or bike to Bowentown Heads
Day 4
Drive to Katikati end of the Tuahu Track and walk over to the Matamata side
Drive home to Taupo.
